THE start of 2010 has gone well for the

David Simcock plans to keep busy on the all-weather over the next couple of months as he seeks further successes ahead of the Turf campaign.

The trainer said: “We’ve got plenty of darts to throw – including some of the 10 that we’ve got entered in the February Sale, which takes place at the end of next week.

“Among the others, Ilie Nastase could run this Saturday – as could Hazzard County, who came back from a long lay-off to finish sixth, which I was delighted with.

“There is the race for him next weekend and then nothing for three weeks..

“Fathsta and Seasider, who was trained by Sir Michael Stoute before we bought him at the Horses In Training Sale, will also be running and we will bring out some maidens in February, too.”
