Ahla Wasahl has been declared by trainer David Simcock to take her place in the Group 3 Balanchine Stakes at Meydan on Thursday.

Connections of the Dubai Destination filly will be hoping that she has come on from her Carnival debut earlier this month and can gain some more black type.

Her finest hour to date came when she took a Listed handicap at Ascot last autumn and if she could reproduce that form again she is entitled to be very competive in Group company.

A field of eight have been declared for the nine furlong contest and jockey Ahmed Ajtebi rides.
