Ffos Las double for Simcock

TRAINER David Simcock maintained his tremendous record at Ffos Las this afternoon when he saddled both Dajen and Shabak Hom to success.

Dajen (5/1) bounced back to winning ways in the mile handicap under a good ride from Laura Pike.

The son of Kyllachy, already a winner three times this season, showed a good turn of foot to surge clear in the closing stages to win by two lengths.

An hour before Shabak Hom(4/1) gained a first career success in the 1m2f handicap.

The son of Exceed and Excel was settled in third during early stages of the race and moved up stylishly to lead a furlong from home.

From then on jockey Joe Fanning simply had to push his mount out under hands and heels to win by two lengths.
