Dream Ahead impresses on debut

DREAM Ahead got his career off to the best possible start when taking a 6f maiden at Nottingham is taking fashion. The son of Diktat had been showing all the right signs at home and was sent off the 7/4 market leader.
The race itself was very straightforward with jockey William Buick settling Dream Ahead in the midfield on the outside.
He travelled strongly and cruised up to join the leaders 2f from home.
Buick kicked for home and his mount showed a smart turn of foot to surge clear, returning nine lengths clear of his nearest rival.
This was a visually impressive debut from a colt that looks to have a bright future ahead of him.
