Gutsy Uchenna wins at Goodwood

UCHENNA won at the second time of asking when taking a mile maiden at Goodwood this afternoon.
The daughter of Fastnet Rock stepped up on her encouraging debut at Kempton earlier this month.
She was given a no-nonsense ride by Jamie Spencer, who always had his mount close to the pace.
Uchenna picked up well in the closing stages and came out on top after a pro-longed battle with Tea In Transvaal.
David said: "We'll try and find one more race for her this season and I think that will be it."
