Barye continues to progress

12 March 2015

BARYE made it two wins on the bounce when romping away at Chelmsford City on March 12.

The Archipenko gelding has really put his best foot forward so far this spring, taking a mile and a quarter handicap on his latest assignment.
Despite a 6lb rise from last month's course and distance success , there proved to be no stopping the Anthony Hogarth-owned four-year-old.
Barye was held up at the rear of the field through much of the race before being produced by Martin Lane with just over a quarter of a mile to go.
Trainer David Simock's charge moved smoothly to the head of affairs with about a furlong to go and then powered home to win by five lengths as the 11/10 favourite.
