David looks ahead to World Cup night

TRAINER David Simcock has three to saddle on an ultra prestigious card at Meydan tomorrow - Dubai World Cup night.

Many of racing's great and good will assemble in the desert for a hugely valuable fixture, the highlight being the $10million Dubai World Cup.
But all the races are worth a fortune, not least the $6million Dubai Turf in which Trade Storm takes his chance for the Trillium Place team.
The seven-year-old came second, albeit well beaten in the Group 1 Jebel Hatta earlier this month. But he is a horse who progresses for racing.
David said: ""He always needs a prep run and he has improved for the one he had on Super Saturday.Mind you, he will need to against this calibre of opposition.
"The plus for us is that it is a small but select field, which will suit his running style. He might just lack the ability of the top-grade horses but you know he will be staying on at the end."
Sheikhzayedroad ran a fine race to finish second in a Group 2 on Super Saturday. He is back in action in the $6million Dubai Sheema Classic.
David assessed: "He is in great shape. He probably lacks that bit of quality in this sort of company but he tries hard. We'll be looking to pick up some of the pieces."
David is harbouring high hopes that Caspar Netscher can be competitive in the 1000metre Al Quoz, worth $1million. He was third over course and distance, beaten a neck earlier in the month.
His trainer said: "He has been racing over further than (Saturday's race distance of) 1000m but the sectionals he posted when he ran in Canada (1200m) and Santa Anita (1300m) last year were good."
"He showed good speed when he ran here over 1000m here earlier this month and we're looking for the same on Saturday
