Across-the-card double!

29 March 2015

THE Trillium Place stars may have missed the frame on a glittering Dubai World Cup night, but it was still a very successful day - thanks to the home team.

Trainer David Simcock enjoyed an across-the-card-double with Related and Majeed both on target at Kempton and Chelmsford City, respectively.
Related finished on top in a six-furlong handicap, holding off Mishaal by a head in a thrilling finish.
Jockey Freddie Tylicki had to be strong in the closing strides to ensure the 4/1 shot pulled off his fourth career win.
In the early evening, Majeed notched win number two on the day for Trillium Place.
The five-year-old came with a late rattle to get up close home by a neck in the hands of Tom Eaves.
