Lytham St Annes on target at Epsom

11 September 2015

TRAINER David Simcock hit the target at Epsom yesterday as Lytham St Annes opened his account at the third time of asking.

The Bahamian Bounty colt maintained his progression with an easy three and a half length victory in a seven furlong median auction maiden.

Jockey Liam Keniry had him smartly away from the gates and he never saw another rival, making all.

Indeed, Keniry had the luxury of nursing him home after he'd made a telling move over two furlongs out.

With the race as good as won, Lytham St Annes cruised through the closing exchanges to deliver a 2/1 success for Trillium Place and owner Malih Al Basti.
