Another winner for Trillium Place

15 January 2016

THE TRILLIUM Place team can do no wrong at present and Gorokai provided them with their latest success this afternoon at Lingfield.

The Kodiac gelding was a worthy favourite for the five-furlong contest having finished a narrowly-beaten second at Wolves last time out.

This time, jockey Jim Crowley had the Simcock runner to the fore from the gates and he was never headed.
Gorokai, owned by Mrs Fitri Hay, stretched clear in the closing stages and had two and a quarter lengths to spare at the line.
It was David Simcock's fifth winner from nine runners since last Saturday.
No doubt it has been a happy new year so far for Trillium Place!
