Wins for Foresight, Doc Sardonicus

31 July 2016

THE long trip to Hamilton proved worthwhile for Foresight as he sped to success in a six-furlong maiden.

The son of former stable star Dream Ahead made relatively light work of beating his six rivals.

Allowed to hit the front with over a furlong to go by jockey Same James, he powered clear in the closing stages to score by three lengths.

It was victory at the fourth attempt for the Highclere Thoroughbreds colt who can hopefully progress again.

Earlier in the week, trainer David Simcock enjoyed success with Doctor Sardonicus in a six-furlong handicap at Yarmouth.

The 91-rated five-year-old registered his fourth career win, getting the verdict by a short head in a photo finish.

In other Trillium Place news, Sheikhzayedroad put up yet another fine performance to finish third in the Group 2 Goodwood Cup last Thursday.
