Zymyran in Yarmouth strike

13 September 2016

TRAINER David Simcock remains in red-hot form as this afternoon's success of Zymyran at Yarmouth flagged up.

The triumphant Trillium Place bandwagon shows no sign of slowing after enjoying a brilliant St Leger Festival at Doncaster.
The team enjoyed an across-the-card double on Sunday and Zymyran maintained the feel-good factor with victory in a 1m nursery on the Norfolk coastline.
NurIan Bizakov's colt by Henrythenavigator had been second on his two previous starts and was starting out in nurseries off a mark of 70.
He was a 12/1 shot in the six-runner field and was given a peach of a hold-up ride by jockey Harry Bentley.
Zymyran was anchored at the rear of the field and travelled sweetly in the slipstream of his rivals.
Once push came to shove, the Simcock charge picked up in stirring fashion to lead inside the final furlong.
Bentley kept him going forward in strong style and he had three parts of a length in hand on hitting the line.
