HIGH HOPES scored her third career success for trainer David Simcock this afternoon, winning the one mile two furlong class 3 Fillies' Handicap at Beverley Racecourse.
Having missed the break, the filly made up ground and tracked the field under jockey Joe Fanning. Inside two furlongs from home they moved wide to make their challenge, taking the lead inside the final furlong and going on to win by one and three quarter lengths.
Four-year-old High Hopes is by Zamindar (USA) out of Dixielake (IRE) and owned by Major M G Wyatt.
