Veena makes it a double

VEENA made it a double on the card for trainer David Simcock at Wolverhampton this evening under Oisin Murphy.
The five-year-old, by Elusive City (USA) out of Kensita (FR), won the seven furlong and thirty-six yard Fillies' Handicap with another battling performance and was scoring her fourth victory.
From the off she tracked the leaders on the inside, switching right over one furlong out to go second, then stayed on well under pressure to take the lead at the line, winning by a nose.
Veena is trained by David Simcock for Chola Dynasty.
