Glory re-discovered !

GLORY AWAITS re-discovered that winning feeling in taking the one mile handicap at Chelmsford this evening.
Jockey Martin Harley drove the eight year old gelding positively from the break, finding a position closely tracking the leader throughout.
Effort in the final two furlongs brought Glory Awaits to head the field entering the last half furlong, he then ran on well to win by a length.
This was a particularly pleasing first  return to the winners enclosure since 2014 for Glory Awaits, by Choisir (AUS) out of Sandbox Two (IRE), and trained by David Simcock for Mr John Cook.
