Nonios gives his best yet

NONIOS scored his first class 2 victory this afternoon, taking the one mile and two furlong handicap at Chelmsford under jockey Martin Harley.

From the break Nonios was settled at the rear of the field and tracked patiently until inside the final three furlongs. Martin Harley then encouraged Nonios under hands and heels and pressed the leader inside the final furlong, taking the lead in the final strides to win by a nose. 

Nonios is now a six-year-old gelding, by Oasis Dream (GB) out of Young And Daring (USA), and trained by David Simcock for owners Millingbrook Racing.
