Debut victory for Annecy

ANNECY won very promisingly on debut this afternoon taking the seven furlong class five fillies' novice auction stakes at Lingfield Park under Jamie Spencer.
The two-year-old broke well from the stalls and tracked the leaders throughout, in third place entering the final two furlongs she was travelling strongly and shaken up to chase the leader over one furlong out. She closed on the leader and went into the lead for the final seventy-five yards, doing enough under hands and heels to win comfortably by three-quarters of a length.
By Swiss Spirit (GB) out of Atheera (IRE), Annecy was bred by Lordship Stud and is trained by David Simcock for Hot To Trot Racing.
