Win for Miss Latin

Miss Latin showed promise to win the one mile four and a half furlong class four fillies' handicap at Newcastle this evening under Hayley Turner.
The three-year-old filly was held up at the rear of the four-runner field, ridden patiently until making headway over two furlongs out to chase the leaders. Approaching the final furlong she challenged the leaders and then took the lead entering the final half furlong and was driven out to hold on by a neck at the line.
