Impressive winning debut for Pale King

PALE KING showed considerable promise in winning the one mile and four furlong Novice Stakes at Lingfield Park this afternoon, on debut, under Jamie Spencer. 

Held up towards the rear of the field, the three-year-old colt made headway over three furlongs out, to chase the leader over two furlongs out and lead inside the final furlong, going on to win comfortably by one and three-quarter lengths.
