Glass Office set for UAE 2000 Guineas

GLASS Office has been declared for the Group 3 UAE 2000 Guineas at Meydan on Thursday. The son of Verglas was a Group 3 winner at Kempton last September, showing a high level of form on the all-weather. He was fifth on his recent UAE debut but he should strip fitter for that run, which was his first since that Kempton success last season. Jamie Spencer will take the ride and the pair face just seven rivals. They include impressive trial winner, Soft Falling Rain and Godolphin’s Fortify, who was last seen finishing fourth in the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile at Santa Anita. On the same card, Trade Storm is set to tackle the Jaguar XF Trophy. The son of Trade Fair should also have improved for his first run of the season and he he stepping up to nine furlongs from a mile. He too will be ridden by Jamie Spencer and will jump from stall seven. His rivals include recent UAE winner Rerouted and former high-class performers Finjaan and Mikail Glinka.
