FOLK DANCE gave a very pleasing performance to get her first victory, winning the one mile Fillies' Handicap at Newmarket this afternoon under jockey Callum Shepherd.
The three-year-old was held up in last place, then shaken up and made steady headway two furlongs out, ridden and led inside the final furlong and kept on to win by half a length.By Golden Horn GB out of Folk Opera IRE, Folk Dance is trained by David Simcock for Major M G Wyatt.
