Warrior completes hat trick

WHISPERING Warrior completed a hat trick of victories this afternoon when comfortably winning a mile handicap at Lingfield. The son of Oasis Dream opened his account at the same track in December before adding a Kempton triumph to his name a fortnight ago. Back at Lingfield today, Whispering Warrior was barely extended by jockey Jim Crowley, winning this event by two lengths. Crowley kept it simple on the 2/5 favourite and he showed a good burst of speed to quicken past his rivals up the straight under hands and heels. Later in the afternoon, Hierarch just missed out of making it a double when going down narrowly under Siobhan Miller in the apprentice handicap.
