IT was very pleasing to see Repertoire return to the winner's enclosure, straight from a 244 day break, after taking the one mile Manny Mercer Apprentice Handicap at Ascot under Saffie Osborne.
The six-year-old gelding was held patiently in midfield until pushed along over two furlongs out, then pressed the leaders and ridden to lead over one furlong out and went clear inside the final furlong to win by six lengths.By Bated Breath GB out of Binche USA, Repertoire is trained by David Simcock for A Jackson and K Stewart and Partners.
