Third win of year for Forge Valley Lad

THE very consistent Forge Valley Lad scored his seventh career success, and third win this year, when taking the one mile and four furlongs handicap at Lingfield Park this afternoon under Jamie Spencer.
Held up in last until making headway from two furlongs out, the six-year-old gelding was pushed along and came wide off the home turn, kept on well inside the final furlong and led towards the finish, winning by a neck.By Cityscape GB out of Tamara GB, Forge Valley Lad is trained by David Simcock for Mr. A M Pickering.
