Five times placed at Gr1 level for Light Infantry

THE ever consistent Light Infantry again ran well to place third in an ultra-competitive renewal of the Group One Prix Jacques Le Marois at Deauville this afternoon, under Jamie Spencer.
Having been restrained in mid-division until two and a half furlongs out, Light Infantry was then pushed along only to have his run hampered by rivals two furlongs out. He then recovered momentum and ran on to take third place inside the final furlong.Now a four-year-old colt, by Fast Company IRE out of Lights On Me GB, Light Infantry is trained by David Simcock for Neversaydie and Light Infantry Partnership.
