Vigor wins...Trade Storms pleases

18 June 2013

VIGOR produced a sterling performance to run away with a 6f maiden for trainer David Simcock at Brighton this evening.

The Iffraaj colt made just about all in the hands of rider Martin Lane and eventually won as he liked by six lengths.

It was a progressive kind of display from the 5/2 shot who had been second on debut at Yarmouth three weeks earlier.

Earlier in the day, Trade Storm made a pleasing British seasonal bow when fifth of 13 in the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot.

He’s entitled to come on again for this effort and shaped as if he’ll be a player in the miling division at the highest level in Europe this summer.
