POSTSCRIPT and Haylaman provided owner Dr Mawan Koukash with a
double this weekend.
The former won a mile handicap at Haydock on Saturday evening under Andrea Atzeni.
He was always travelling strongly and responded well to Andrea’s urgings to win by a cosy neck.
Haylaman has been running well of late and he routed a competitive field in a mile and a quarter handicap at Pontefract on Sunday.
He was settled at the rear by Silvestre de Sousa before moving up to chase the leaders rounding the final bend.
He ran on well when hitting the rising ground and powered clear inside the final furlong to win by seven lengths.
