Cafe Society wins at Salisbury

26 June 2013

CAFE Society looked an exciting staying prospect when landing a 1m6f handicap at Salisbury this afternoon.

The son of Motivator relished the step up in trip and won nicely in the hands of Jamie Spencer.

He was awkward leaving the stalls but soon recovered from this as Spencer settled him at the rear of the field.

He was travelling well when Spencer switched to the middle of the track to make his challenge.

There were a few in with chances at the furlong pole but Cafe Society ran on strongly to beat them all off and win by a length and a quarter.
